Objective of the relay

This relay allows to maintain all powered Blaxtair system for a set period of time after the engine has been switched off. It is adjustable between 1 minute and 1 hour. To find out the consumption and necessary cut-off times, refer to the documentation for the Blaxtair system concerned.

Use Case – When to Use It?

For vehicles with frequent engine stops.
Need to customize the cut-off time Blaxtair to combine safety and battery life.

Technical operation

Continue to power the Blaxtair for an adjustable duration after engine shutdown.
It is adjusted using 2 dials configuration, located on the relay.

Available adjustment ranges

Operation by dial

The relay uses two knobs:

Dial A: selection of the time range
Dial B: adjustment end of term in this beach

Example :

To adjust a cut after 25 minutes:

Turn dial A to position A5
Adjust the dial B to position B2

Electrical connection

Here are the wiring references:

•87 / 87a / 30: relay terminals

•1 – Vehicle mass

•2 – Main vehicle power supply

•3 – Vehicle ignition contact

•4 – Blaxtair ignition wire

📍Connect the relay between the power supply and the Blaxtair ignition wire.

Verification:

A. Position the dial to the desired position with the engine off.

B. Start the engine and wait for the Blaxtair to be operational.

C. Turn off the engine and check that during the timeout period the system remains active.

Step adjustment + dial

The relay operates in two combined settings:

The installer chooses a position A (of A1 to A8) which defines a time range.
He then uses the dial B to adjust the duration within this range:
