4.4.1 Format USB flash drive

You must format the USB flash drive in FAT32 to allow the Blaxtair Origin processing unit to detect it.

When you buy a commercial USB stick, it is usually in FAT32 or NTFS format.

In case your USB flash drive is not in the correct format, here is a procedure to format it to FAT32. 

  • 1 - Plug in the USB flash drive to your PC 

  • 2 - Open the windows file explorer

  • 3 - Right-click on the USB flash drive and click on Format

  • 4 - Choose FAT32 in File system

  • 5 - Put "ARCURE" in Volume label

  • 6 - Leave the other fields with the default values.

  • 7 - Click on Start and accept the pop-up (the key data will be lost)

  • 8 - Wait for the end of the formatting
